We are proud to announce that TBHI is finally on radio!
As part of our efforts to create a wider range of awareness about issues related to pregnancy and prematurity we created a radio programme titled Tiny Beating Hearts on Radio and the maiden edition aired on Confluence Radio 94.0fm on Saturday 4th August.
Tiny Beating Hearts on Radio is a one hour phone-in programme by TBHI that will air from August on Kogi State owned radio station Confluence FM with the frequency 94.0. It will air every Saturday between 11:00am and 12:00pm.
Dr. Ashraff Abdulhakeem, a medical doctor stationed at the Kogi State Specialist Hospital was our first guest and he dealt exhaustively with the topic COMPLICATIONS OF PREGNANCY. During the course of the programme we received a total of 10 calls from all over the state that ranged from commendations to questions about mental health issues as related to complications about pregnancy and all other related issues regarding the topic treated that day.
The next episode will air on the 11th of August, same time, same station. Do not forget to tune in and become part of the conversation about the wellbeing of pregnant women and infant care.
